Ride To Remember Our Veterans - An Escorted Motorcycle Ride

Mark September 21 on your calendar for the seventh annual RIDE TO REMEMBER OUR VETERANS . As in years past we’re going to ride our beautiful countryside of Guilford and Forsyth Counties to raise funds for our local chapter of the DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS. We’ll leave from Summerfield Baptist Church 2300 Scalesville Rd. in Summerfield at 10 a.m. Registration - $25. single & $30. double-up – starts at 8:30 a.m. with coffee, pastries and other munchies for riders. We invite all riders to come early, meet your fellow riders, check out and bid on the great Silent Auction items donated by area businesses, buy some 50/50 tickets and have some fun! Summerfield Baptist Church has again graciously offered to host the ride as the start and finish spot. From the church we’ll head into rural Guilford County where we’ll roll by farms and homes on less travelled backroads. Eventually, we’ll cross into Forsyth County for more country cruisin’. The last leg of the ride will take us along more country roads as we head back to the church for a BBQ lunch with all the fixins. This ride will be escorted by the Motor Patrol squad of the Guilford Co. Sheriff Department. All riders on all makes of bikes are invited to ride and join the fun while raising funds for our veterans. Please help us again this year.
